Leather and cotton Baby Shoes
Today I sewed a pair of shoes for my little Gustav. He has just started to walk held by the hand. Going out these days, I noticed that he could no longer wear only socks because, even if I take him out with the pram, we always end up "walking" a little bit on the grass at the park or on the sand at the playground.
I wanted to try a model different from the ones I usually sew and I developed a pattern for cotton shoes with non-slip soft leather sole.
I must say, I am quite proud of my job. I have achieved the desired result after just one prototype! That's fun!
In winter, I'll put inside a sole of sheep wool.
And here on Gustav's foot :)))

How to crochet amigurumi Gumballs - Tutorial
Amigurumi Gumballs - Fun for Babies and Toddlers.
As everybody knows, children like small things because they can keep them easily in their hands. At the same time, toys can not be too small otherwise they can be swallowed.
Said and tried, I will show you how to crochet the small balls that my little son Gustav likes so much. The best for him is putting the balls in a container and pick them out again! Many many many times in a row!! I gave him an old ice cream container and the cap - L0L - of whipped cream can, which can hold only one ball.
Here they are:
Supplies
• Medium worsted-weight yarn
• Crochet Hook 4.5
• Fiberfill
Abbreviations
sc = single crochet;
st(s) = stitch(es);
[ ] = work directions in brackets the number of times specified.
sc2tog (single crochet 2 stitches together)
Gauge: not needed.
Instructions:
Make an adjustable ring.
Round 1: Work 6 sc in ring ⎯ 6 sc. Tighten ring.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each st around⎯ 12 sc.
Round 3: [Sc 1, 2 sc in next st] 6 times⎯ 18 sc.
Round 4-6: Sc in each st around⎯ 18 sc.
Round 7: [Sc in next st, sc2tog] 6 times⎯ 12 sc.
Stuff with fiberfill
Round 8: [sc2tog] 6 times⎯ 6 sc.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Have fun !!

Professional photoshooting for My Noopy Dolls!
Yesterday a dream came true. A talented photographer as well as scrapbooking expert, Sandra Dietrich, made a wonderful photo shooting of my dolls. Today I received the CD with the pictures and I could not believe my eyes! Just great! The light, the colors, the angles ..... I am speechless.
I'll show you just a couple of pics tonight and you can watch Sandra's work on her blog.
Thank you so much, Sandra!!!!
