Leather and cotton Baby Shoes

Today I sewed a pair of shoes for my little Gustav. He has just started to walk held by the hand. Going out these days, I noticed that he could no longer wear only socks because, even if I take him out with the pram, we always end up "walking" a little bit on the grass at the park or on the sand at the playground.

I wanted to try a  model
different from the ones I usually sew and I developed a pattern for cotton shoes with non-slip soft leather sole.

I must say, I am quite proud of my job. I have achieved the desired result after just one prototype! That's fun!

In winter, I'll put inside a sole of sheep wool.

And here on Gustav's foot :)))
