Best Free Fabric Doll Patterns and Tutorials

Dear Readers!

Today begins the most interesting part of my blog, a list of the best free doll patterns found in the web. The patterns I've tried will also be briefly discussed so that you can immediately know what to expect in the realization, possible difficulties or imperfections in the pattern or tricks to apply.

Great pattern, precise and simple.

The implementation is easy and does not hide bad surprises.

Also suitable for beginners.

In the Martha Stewart link I posted above is explained how to make the smiley faces in a simple way without the need for paint.

Very nice tutorial that covers the following points:
  •      which fabric to use
  •      which stitch length to use
  •      characteristics of various filling materials
  •      how to stuff (so many tips and tricks)

Great pattern, accurate and easy to understand.

Suitable for
doll beginners not for sewing beginners.

It is necessary to know how to work with felt in order to get good results.

Difficulty: Easy / Medium

Accurate
Pattern, easy to understand.

Suitable for
dolls beginners but not for sewing beginners.

Very nice, in my opinion, the opportunity to learn how to make different types of hair and undressable clothes.

Also included: several types of shoes and advanced details, like the collars of Elli and Chloe. Lots of useful tricks in the tutorial.
